During my recent business trip to Florence, I had the pleasure of staying at Il Giglio Guest House, a charming accommodation that perfectly blends comfort with a touch of Italian hospitality. The host, though her English was limited, made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I appreciated the personal touch of daily housekeeping, which ensured my spacious room remained a tidy sanctuary for both work and relaxation, complete with thoughtful amenities like a pillow menu and a dedicated workspace. Located just a short walk from key attractions like the Cathedral of Santa Maria Novella and the Uffizi Gallery, this guest house is also conveniently close to excellent local dining options that are wonderfully free from tourist crowds. The tranquility of the sound-insulated rooms offered a peaceful retreat after full days of exploring.
